Kim Kolehmainen

Kim is a friendly and familiar face at Bangor Veterinary Clinic, where she serves as a Receptionist and helps create a welcoming experience for every client and pet who walks through the door. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, bringing strong organizational skills and attention to detail to the front desk.

A lifelong animal lover, Kim chose to work in veterinary medicine because of her deep love for animals and her desire to help both pets and the people who care for them. One of her favorite memories at the clinic was meeting a litter of what she described as “nine of the most beautiful puppies I have ever seen,” a moment that perfectly captures why she enjoys her role so much.

Originally from Gobles, Kim loves being able to support her local community. She especially enjoys helping clients navigate their pets’ care and making each visit a little easier and more positive.

Outside of work, Kim’s family includes her husband, Paul, and a full house of beloved pets: Talina (Birman), Indigo (Aussie mix), Norwegian (Chinook–Wolfhound mix), Clementine (Orange Tabby), and Otis. Her pets are truly part of her family, and she believes life would feel empty without them.
